The flow of qi, the fire of yin, the rhythm of sound. The thread of creation.

The innate nature of all things is what moves me.

That's me in a nutshell. I'm a certified Qi Gong teacher and studied 700+ hours of Yin Yoga and yogic philosophy with Paul and Suzee Grilley. I play with my voice, sound and rhythm, I knot malas and Iwrite things.

My Qi Gong journey started in the early nineties. At the time there was more literature to be found than teachers but I was hooked enough to find my way anyway.

Qi Gong in its broadest sense means to harmonise the body, mind and spirit by synchronising movement and breath. It’s a meditation in motion and literally it means Energy and Skill. Or the way my teacher puts it: to work with energy. Whether this is Yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong or other practices that emphasise the connection between movement and breath, essentially they all hold the same foundation, which is to harmonise the body mind and spirit.

The Tao is always at ease.

It overcomes without competing,

answers without speaking a word,

arrives without being summoned,

accomplishes without a plan.

Its net covers the whole universe.

And though its meshes are wide,

it doesn’t let a thing slip through.

- Lao Tzu [Stephen Mitchell]
